Justina Chichi, widely recognized by her stage name Papergirl NY Infinity, is a Nigerian-Irish-American artist, songwriter, and entrepreneur. She began her career as a petite teenage rapper named Half Note, earning acclaim in battle rap scenes across New York and New Jersey, eventually becoming a protégé of Big Daddy Kane and recording alongside Jay-Z. After rebranding as Infinity in the late ’90s, she was signed to Wu-Tang’s Protect Ya Neck Records, toured with the Wu-Tang Clan, and earned a degree in Music Business Management. She later released solo singles, competed in the HBO Blaze Battle, joined G-Unit briefly under 50 Cent, and launched her independent label, Papergirl Records. Endorsed by fashion brands and featured in XXL Magazine, she also formed a rap group, The Ambassadors, with Saigon and China White. Known as Papergirl NY by 2003, she collaborated with major producers, hosted events, and recorded with Black Rob and Idris Elba. She signed with SuckaFree/Columbia Records, toured with Lil Flip, and appeared on several underground platforms. After moving to Atlanta following Hurricane Katrina, she expanded into fashion, television, and events, appearing in Jet Magazine and producing pilots including Why I’m Single. From 2009 to 2011, she embraced her Nigerian heritage, performing in Nigeria and appearing on BET’s Frankie and Neffe. She founded Models Basketball Tournament, which evolved into a national movement mentoring young women through sports and music. Between 2012 and 2015, she collaborated again with Idris Elba and DJ Shogun, became A&R/Manager for Headshell Ent, and pursued a second Master’s degree. Her work in television, education, and artist development continued in LA and Atlanta, where she walked red carpets, wrote songs with 88 Fingers Keys, and began authoring educational books on hip-hop culture and business for youth. Throughout, her mission remains to empower young women through music, education, entrepreneurship, and storytelling.
