Darryl Gibson AKA Positive K hit the scene in 1986 with his debut on a Hip hop showcase album “Fast Money.” Positive K would bring noted attention to Star Maker, the independent label. Glenn Toby, the artist also known as “Mr. Sweety G” was Positive K’s first manager and produced “I’m Getting Paid” also on Star Maker. In addition, Glen Toby produced a track for Hip hop pioneer Disco Dave.
