Whitney Jones has been involved with music for over 30 years. Media made magazine had the chance to sit down with her and discuss her life experiences growing up and discovering her path in music.

Written and produced largely by Whitney herself, the album shines with moments of collaboration, as she worked with talented producers W. Timothy Bailey, Jr., Nick Blount, and Josiah Walker on select tracks. The album also features co-writing and performing credits with her husband, Christopher Boozer, further infusing Based On Reality with the personal and intimate touch of love and partnership.
